The Chippewa Valley Home Builders Foundation, Inc. (CVHBF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit governed by a separate Board of Directors whose mission is to provide opportunities for those interested in careers in the skilled trades and to promote and support projects focused on housing and emerging community construction related needs. All gifts to the CVHBF are tax deductible.

Tools for Schools Program
Technical Education programs from Chippewa Valley area schools are able to apply for the Tools For Schools Program to receive much needed tools and equipment for their classrooms to promote hands-on experience in the skilled trades. Applications for the Tools for Schools Program open in January and are presented in April at the Building Futures Celebration event. Any school who falls within the six counties that the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association serves is eligible to apply (Buffalo, Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire and Pepin). Since 2020, over $25,000 worth of tools have been donated to local schools.
Types of tools donated:
- Miter saw
- Cordless reciprocating saw
- Framing nailer
- Drill driver/impact driver combo kit
- Belt/disc sander
- Laser level system
- Tape measure
